"Why do you deserve that when you already have so much more than me?"
Personality
Pamo is a stubborn, close-minded red panda who's set on his goal of getting whatever he thinks he deserves. While he loves making pottery, and is always striving to make new and unique designs, he's also a pirate and a thief who will steal anything he's longing to have. He's a master at the slight of hand, and can get away with stealing things right under someone's nose if he's determined to get it. He's a quick learner, and can catch on to new things fairly quickly.
While he may be a thief, he has sympathy for those who are like him and never had much, and he'll steal things for them, leaving it for them to find. Pamo is aware of the consequences he'll face if he's caught, and knows how much trouble he'll get in if he ends up stealing from the wrong person, but despite that he won't let that stop him if it helps others like him. Pamo is haughty, and finds it exhilarating how he can smooth talk his way into getting things he wants. He can also be snarky when someone says something he thinks is dumb.
Appearance
Pamo is 5'6ft and leans more toward the chubby side. He often wears a pirate outfit.

Backstory
Pamo didn't grow up with much in the small town he lived in. It was only him, his sister, Poppy, and his dad, Clematis, at home. Clematis wasn't able to make enough money to get all the things that Pamo and Poppy wanted. While he did get some things, Pamo didn't realize how little he, Poppy, and his dad could get. He had a good amount of friends growing up. He was always confused by the latest trends going around school, but that didn't stop him from having fun, even when he didn't have the latest game or toy. Pamo became good friends with one of his classmates, Quark. He liked hearing about Quark's parents and what they did, though he did get tired of how often Quark talked about them. The day he got to visit Quark's house is the day he realized just how little he had compared to others. That was the day he wanted more for himself and his family.
Pamo started longing for the things he couldn't get. He avoided chats about things he absolutely wanted, but knew he wouldn't be able to get for a long time. He'd even tune out some of his best friends when he couldn't stand it, and even started getting jealous of his friends to the point where he'd avoid them for a few days. The feeling never went away as he grew up. Pamo started hating the days after Christmas and birthday parties. Why did they deserve such new and neat things?! Their families could afford it. He was the one living in the poor family, so he deserved it more!
As he grew older, Pamo started helping Clem make pottery for the local trader's market. He'd see all the stands and the things he wanted from them. Sometimes he could make a successful trade, but other times he had to leave the stand in defeat, and only could wish that he could've gotten what he wanted. While he did fall in love with making pottery or anything out of clay, Pamo first traded or used any money to help out himself and his family, then he'd moved on to getting the things he wanted. He didn't always have enough money left, or much interest in trades after getting what they needed.
Pamo started getting desperate, and soon learned how to smooth talk merchants into giving him discounts, or even give him things for free. He grew distant from Quark without telling his friend how he felt, and even grew to dislike Quark somewhat for what she had. A thief's guild had noticed how well Pamo could smooth talk, and offered him a place among them. Pamo was quick to accept the offer after they said they could help him get the things he wanted. He was quick to learn slight of hand tricks, and stole things from right under others' noses when he was feeling brave.
He kept making pottery and let everyone believe that that was his true occupation, and that he was making enough money to get some of the things he wanted. Even Clem helped him out with his pottery when he could. While Pamo loved making pottery and being able to live off of that, he found it exhilarating to get away with thefts. While Pamo may be a thief, he left things for others sometimes as well. If he saw someone who was like him and wanting something, Pamo would snatch that something up and leave it for them to find.
Pamo never told Quark how he felt jealous. He kept the act up around her and his family, pretending that everything was fine. As his jealousy grew, so did his greed. He thought about how he deserved so much more than what he and his family were given. Even though he felt like that, he truly did like to hang out with Quark and his family.
After over a year of Quark declining his invitations to hang out with him, Pamo had enough. Why wouldn't his best friend hang out with him? Sure, she was a scientist, but she should make time for her friend! He grew more distant from his friends and family, and started to spend most of his time with the thief's guild he's come to call his second home. Soon enough, he learned that the guild partners with some pirate crews, and one of those crews reached out to him after learning how well he steals. The Buccaneer Bandits offered Pamo a position in their crew, and told him to think on it over the weekend.
Once the weekend was over, Pamo decided to leave his life behind for a life of getting whatever he wanted, when he wanted. Without even saying goodbye to his family or Quark, Pamo left for the seas to enjoy the life of a pirate.
